Currently, many exciting stations await our visitors at the MusiKUSS hands-on exhibition: People can try, how sound is propagated or discover how hearing and singing actually work! Visitors paint their own piece of music with Kandinsky's colors or write their names with Mozart's music! The Science Fair is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic, which has been organized annually since 2015 by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. It shows science in all its forms and offers to visitors the most interesting things from the world of natural, technical, humanities and social sciences. It presents science and research as a fascinating and essential branch of human activity. Visitors will experience science first-hand through interactive exhibits, models, mobile laboratories and practical workshops.

National Geographic Planet or Plastic

Until spring 2021, National Geographic - Planet or Plastic is the theme of the National Geographic photo exhibition. It shows a collection of journalistic photographs about the production of plastic, via its use until the stage of litter. Artistic photographs will also be on display, drawing attention to the scale and sad effects of our use of plastic. The exhibition also shows photographs of scientific research of the plastic problem and the search for solutions to the pollution of the oceans.

Make, investigate and celebrate Christmas at Life with all the family.

Included in your science centre ticket are festive-themed Science Theatre shows, making Christmas decorations, coding Christmas tree light patterns and investigating the properties of fake snow.

Visitors can even make their own ink to write a letter to Santa and be dazzled at Science busking Christmas demonstrations. (Some activities are for ages 7+ only).

The new Space Zone will show video messages, recorded by astronauts as they spent the holidays on the International Space Station!

the World Portuguese Language Day @Universcience

On the occasion of the World Portuguese Language Day on May 5th, and as part of the festivities of the France-Portugal Season, Universcience welcomed its partners from the Exploratorio, Centre Ciência Viva de Coimbra, for the screening of their film "Astronomia para bebes" at the Planetarium.

Next meeting from May 23rd to 29th at the Exploratorio for the projection of "Ready for lift-off!" conceived by Universcience teams!

Hüttinger Interactive Exhibitions 28 April 2022

In April 2019 we were entrusted with the conceptual re-design of the museum‘s GAIA exhibition. This contract was followed by the order to design and build the this new gallery, now renamed ΚΛΙΜΑΤΙΚΗ ΑΛΛΑΓΗ ΚΑΙ ΕΜΕΙΣ (lit. Climate Change and Us). The exhibition displays 19 interactives covering several themes related to climate change on both a global and a personal scale. The topics are Consum and Waste, Energy Consumption, Transport, Food Production, Water Use, and Living. Climate Change and Us was officially opened in April 2022.

Raumschiff - The Maker-Space for Astronomy 28 February 2022

We are looking for a public engagement professional to work for our new project ‘Open Science Club’ aiming at engaging children and adults in astronomy over a longer period of time: science - a hobby just like music or sports. The club will be built around citizen science and open data. A variety of activities involving the local and international learning landscapes around astronomy will allow for individual learning paths. A good knowledge of German is a must.
