2026 Ecsite Conference

About

Ecsite 2026 will take place 2-4 June 2026, in Gothenburg, Sweden at Svenska Mässan - the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. Hosted by Ecsite member Universeum, participants will have various opportunities to visit their multifaceted science centre with an aquarium, planetarium, rainforest and award-winning exhibitions.

The Ecsite 2026 programme offers a diverse programme of sessions, practical workshops and networking events, showcasing the breadth of expertise driving public engagement with science. The programme is designed by the Ecsite community, for the Ecsite community.

Conference highlights include:

Learning & Exchange: 2 keynotes and 70+ sessions on leadership, fundraising, marketing, exhibitions, partnerships and research in workshops, panels and interactive formats.
Deep Dives & Focuses: 5 half-day workshops on 2 June open to all while the CEO and Marketing Focus are exclusive to Ecsite members.
Trade Show: Showcasing innovative solutions and travelling exhibitions for science centres, museums and public engagement organisations.
Networking: A variety of events to connect, share ideas and spark collaborations taking place in different locations such as Universeum.
