2018 Ecsite Conference |
Natural History Museum of Geneva - Geneva, Switzerland 7-9 June 2018 |
The 2018 Ecsite Conference had a record-breaking number of attendees: 1,182 professionals from 58 countries gathered in Geneva, Switzerland. This 29th edition of the Conference was hosted by the Natural History Museum of Geneva, in partnership with CERN, University of Geneva Scienscope and Campus Biotech.
The theme of this conference was "creative collisions": in today's society, thoughts, words and deeds are increasingly standardised. By placing different worldviews on a collision course, we can create a source of innovation and creativity. Science engagement offers an unique space to experiment with new creative collisions between science and society, experts and amateurs etc. The concept of creative collisions stimulated us to reinvent communication, teaching, learning and thinking!
