2014 Ecsite Conference

Museon-Omniversum - the Hague, the Netherlands

21-24 May 2014

Overview

The 2014 Ecsite Conference was the 25th anniversary edition! The host Museon-Omniversum in the Hague welcomed 954 attendees from 48 countries. The theme for this conference was "People, Planet, Peace". Science centres and museums have the power to serve as socially inclusive and inspirational forums for learning. At the conference we discussed big questions such as: how can our institutions use exhibits, collections, design and marketing to make the science and technology of global challenges more accessible to audiences?
