Currently, many exciting stations await our visitors at the MusiKUSS hands-on exhibition: People can try, how sound is propagated or discover how hearing and singing actually work! Visitors paint their own piece of music with Kandinsky's colors or write their names with Mozart's music! The Science Fair is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic, which has been organized annually since 2015 by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Visitors will experience science first-hand through interactive exhibits, models, mobile laboratories and practical workshops.

National Geographic Planet or Plastic

Until spring 2021, National Geographic - Planet or Plastic is the theme of the National Geographic photo exhibition. It shows a collection of journalistic photographs about the production of plastic, via its use until the stage of litter. Artistic photographs will also be on display, drawing attention to the scale and sad effects of our use of plastic. The exhibition also shows photographs of scientific research of the plastic problem and the search for solutions to the pollution of the oceans.

Make, investigate and celebrate Christmas at Life with all the family.

Included in your science centre ticket are festive-themed Science Theatre shows, making Christmas decorations, coding Christmas tree light patterns and investigating the properties of fake snow.

Visitors can even make their own ink to write a letter to Santa and be dazzled at Science busking Christmas demonstrations. (Some activities are for ages 7+ only).

The new Space Zone will show video messages, recorded by astronauts as they spent the holidays on the International Space Station!

The second edition of the National STEM Community Fund has been launched, which will enable eligible organisations to carry out community-based STEM-related projects within the community. Organisations who engage with a researcher or STEM professional for such projects can receive up to a maximum of €8,000 per project.

Israel's New Space Exhibition

Carasso Science Park is currently working on a new Space Exhibition that will constitute an impressive, hands-on, experiential display window to Israeli achievements in space, including the legacy of the Israeli spirit of innovation, past achievements and future inspiring space missions.

The New Space Exhibition is scheduled to open to the general public on July 2nd, 2023, which marks the 10th anniversary of the museum.

Every year, in the first week of February, the Israeli Space Agency and Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology administrate the Israeli Space Week in leading Science centers and museums, throughout Israel, in memory of Colonel Ilan Ramon.

Ilan Ramon was the first Israeli Astronaut who was killed together with the entire team of the Space Shuttle Columbia in the 2003 disaster.
