During a press conference, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti announced the launch of the Second Edition of the National STEM Awards.
The National STEM Awards aims to acknowledge and honour the far-reaching contribution made by individuals and organisations in Malta through engaging and inspiring others to collaboratively prioritise Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, better known as STEM.

The Planetarium Science Center is organizing the Mid-year Program for students of ages 4-16 years old, during the period from 29 January to 9 February 2023.
The program includes workshops, scientific lectures, 12D shows, and others.
Online registration will open from Tuesday, 24th of January 2023 till all places are reserved.
Science programs
«Dino Adventure» for KG groups: (Target Age: 4-6 years old).
«Scientists Stories» for A groups: (Target Age: 6-9 years old).
«Earth Trip» for B groups: (Target Age: 9-12 years old).
The second edition of the National STEM Community Fund has been launched, which will enable eligible organisations to carry out community-based STEM-related projects within the community. Organisations who engage with a researcher or STEM professional for such projects can receive up to a maximum of €8,000 per project.

Carasso Science Park is currently working on a new Space Exhibition that will constitute an impressive, hands-on, experiential display window to Israeli achievements in space, including the legacy of the Israeli spirit of innovation, past achievements and future inspiring space missions.
The New Space Exhibition is scheduled to open to the general public on July 2nd, 2023, which marks the 10th anniversary of the museum.
