Ian Simmons from Life awarded Museums Association Fellowship

David Fleming, Chair of the FMA presents Ian Simmons with his Fellowship certificate

Life’s Science Communication Director, Ian Simmons, was awarded a Fellowship of the Museums Association (FMA) at their conference on 5 November.

The FMA is a professional development award that recognises and encourages an advanced level of professional contribution, development and achievement by people in any area of museum work, including science centres.

At the ceremony, Ian said: “Being made a fellow of the Museums Association is a very proud moment in my career – I have been an Associate of the Museums Association since the early 90s and I value the recognition of my skills and experience that the award of a Fellowship gives."
