The course is open to the international community of museum educators and school teachers aiming to create a diversified, trans-national group of participants each contributing their experience and expertise. Participants are required to register using the online form before 10 July 2015

After 10 successful editions and having trained 250 professionals from 29 different countries, the SMEC course continues. From 2015 onwards, it will take place at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milano every summer, and at the Deutsches Museum in Munich every winter. It will be organised in the context of Erasmus+ but at the same time it is also open to the international community of school teachers and museum educators.

The SMEC course is a unique training experience bringing together participants from all over the world and a group of expert tutors in a joint highly interactive experience using the exhibitions, labs and resources of two of the most important science museums internationally.

More information on the course and on EU mobility grants.

Please note that the July 2015 edition has been cancelled.
