The PSC is organizing its tenth science festivity under the overarching theme of “Health”.. The PSC has implemented its first Science Festivity in 2007, and it has developed and expanded to be one of the highlights scientific annual events in Alexandria governorate, aiming to further expand geographically to be a national event for all Egyptians.Science Festivity 2016 will celebrate its tenth anniversary. The festivity has been expanding and gaining popularity over the 10 years. Both partners and participants await the annual event to enjoy a break with edutainment activities suitable for all family members. To meet the high public demand for science festivities, the PSC will organize during the science month a number of festivities in schools, clubs, and centers in Alexandria, in addition to other governorates. The Science Festivity 2016 aims to raise the public awareness about

healthy living and eating habits, air and water pollution, hazards of smoking and drugs, chronic diseases and treatment and new mechanisms, and first aid.

The Science Festivity comprises a Science Village built on the BA Plaza, composed of five interactive activity zones. It will host documentaries, cultural plays, science shows, hands-on workshops, and a band that will create a more enthusiastic atmosphere.

The Super Science Show is the most prominent activity that is presented during the festivity. The show introduces science in a theatrical amusing manner. The festivity lasts for 2 days at the BA, and will also take place concurrently at the BA’s partners sites, where it extends till the end of April 2016.
