Our reputation for creative design development, technically advanced build and the quality of our finished exhibits precedes us. Unusual Projects designs and manufactures exhibits entirely in-house, including physical, manual, electromechanical, hybrid, digital and tactile interactives and models.

The team at Unusual Projects work closely with our clients to understand the principles requiring interpretation and apply our experience to ensure that we deliver exhibits that enthral visitors of all ages. We strongly believe that the very best interactives are immediately engaging, intuitive to use and the take away message has to be clear and simple - learning through play is one of the most effective ways to learn.

We are a very creative team and on all projects prefer to be involved in the whole creative process.It is important for us to work with our clients to fully understand the aims and outcomes for each interactive to ensure that the interactive we collaboratively create is one which meets as many learning outcomes as possible.

Over the years, we have naturally built up a knowledge of materials, mechanisms and processes which we know work and will stand up to the heavy usage required in an interactive environment.

All our designs are prototyped (either in the workshop or with your visitors) and thoroughly tested in the workshop before installation. We supply detailed O&M Manuals and undertake free training at installation stage to ensure a smooth handover of our completed works. All of our exhibits are warrantied for 12 months, if required we can extend this warranty period or enter into on-going maintenance contract to ensure that the visitor experience continues to be of the highest standard.
