December 2020 - The Space Talks online series took place on the 27th November, 1-2 December 2020 and were attended by 39 participants. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with Ecsite Space Group members and welcome some new participants despite the physical distance imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. It consisted of informal networking, projects showcase and news sharing session on some very exciting current and upcoming activities from the European Space Agency. It was an inspiring experience providing a good opportunity to reflect and connect.

YESTEM

November 2020 - YESTEM, a 4-year Science Learning+ Partnership project funded by the American National Science Foundation and the British Wellcome Trust have just launched the Equity Compass. This tool has been developed from their research for supporting socially just practice in informal STEM learning. While informal STEM learning settings have a lot of potential to engage diverse communities, on the whole the sector does not have a diverse participation profile.
