Over the last 3.5 years, more than 66 341 people discovered and engaged with the ERC-funded research featured in the ERC=Science2 project which was presented through public events organised in cooperation with Ecsite members from 10 European countries.
On 6-8 March, the last ERC=Science² event on Artificial Intelligence took place at Curiosity centre ZINOO and the Riga Technical University in Latvia.
On 25-26 February, CRA organises a two-day event around the theme of "Artificial Intelligence" in partnership with Technical University - Sofia that will host the ERC=Science² pop-up stand.
On 19-20 January, La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie launched the last ERC=Science² theme on Artificial Intelligence in Paris. A series of activities, including Science Cafés, fab labs, and a round table on Artificial Intelligence hot topics were organised around the latest ERC-funded research on this topic during one of the science centre's Saturday Robots monthly fixture for robotic lovers.
The ERC=Science² frontier research on Artificial Intelligence (A.I) is arriving to Paris on 19-20 January. ERC researchers will take over their fablab to share the work they are doing on this amazing field of research. Besides La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie has prepared a weekend full of activities for visitors of all ages to discover the amazing possibilities A.I. and robotics offers.
The ERC=Science² project, funded by the European Research Council (ERC), engaged hundreds of Latvians at Curiosity centre ZINOO. In the framework of the project, LASC has organised a series of events called “Music and Sound” in Cesis, Latvia. Workshops, and dialogue activities, as well as a concert and visits to the ERC=Science2 stand were some of the strategies used to approach people to ERC grantees’ research projects.
On 3 November 2018, as part of the ERC= Science2 project, ERC Grantee Dr Michael Ellison from the University of Bristol, will talk about music, culture and theatre at Ellinogermaniki Agogi in Pallini, Greece. His presentation “Towards a Transcultural Music and Transcultural Musical Theatre” will be one of the keynote speeches of the national conference for teachers organised by EA.
The Latvian association of science centers (LZCA) is organising a thematic week on "Music and sound" at its Curiosity Centre ZINOO, in Cesis, on 27-30 September.
From June 27 to July 5, Ellinogermaniki Agogi organised a series of ERC=Science² activities on the themes of Music and Senses.
