2000 years ago, the Romans ruled over a great empire. How did they become so successful? Find out in this interactive and inspiring High Tech Romans exhibition!
This exhibition allows visitors the opportunity to step into the shoes of a palaeontologist and get up-close-and-personal with seven incredible animatronic dinosaurs including Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Muttaburrasaurus and the King of the Cretaceous Period, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Visitors can uncover the secrets behind fossils and learn how these prehistoric creatures lived.
You come across Polish people everywhere in the Netherlands: not just in horticulture, glasshouse construction and the building industry, but also in universities, commerce and the art world. This exhibition is all about these people and their history. Poles have been coming to the Netherlands ever since the early twentieth century. First to work in the mines in Limburg. After World War II, many of the Poles who helped to liberate the Netherlands stayed on. During the Communist period, many Poles sought refuge here and these days the glasshouses in the Westland provide work for thousands.

Futuro Remoto 2011: “Journey to the Centre of the Earth”. From November 11th at Città della Scienza! Futuro Remoto is the Annual multimedia event in Naples visited by more than 60.000 visitors every year.
The exhibition “The Black Dragon Song” (Singing Insects), produced by the National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung (Taiwan), will be on display from September 24th to November 30th, 2011 at the Science Museum, Crivelli Hall, Polo Museale of Camerino University. “The Black Dragon Song” uses recycled and recyclable materials and through multimedia such as animations and games, the exhibition will illustrate the ecological and cultural importance of all singing insects. The exhibition features hypertexts and multimedia files, which will explain how the insects’ sound production mechanisms
Do you have what it takes to be a hero? How would you react in a high-pressure scenario with people’s lives at stake? ‘Rescue’ is a unique, hands-on exhibition that focuses on the science and technology of rescue scenarios and emergency services. ‘Rescue’ puts you in charge as you discover what it’s like to be involved in land, sea and air rescues. Take control of a full-size helicopter simulator to get a bird’s eye view of a rescue scene and use infrared cameras to look for heat signals.
The exhibition “Imaging Education. 50 with Frato” is an invitation to think, to discuss ill thought practices, to imagine a change. At the same time it is an opportunity to show the intelligence and creativity of children and their ability to learn and build.
Science affects our daily lives and shapes our perception of the world. The engine of change is the desire to question everything around us. What revolutionary discoveries have we made concerning ourselves, our health, our planet and our universe within the past one hundred years?
The exhibition consists of Science Lounge and four themes displayed as flagship stores: Life and Mind, Better Health, System Earth and Beyond the Visible.
Science Changing the World is produced as a joint effort by four leading science centres located throughout Europe.

Eratosthenes festivity 2018
The Eratosthenes Festivity has become an annual tradition that takes place every year on 21 June at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina; It is designed for preparatory school students, and includes a series of activities that revolve around the methodology Eratosthenes applied in measuring the Earth’s circumference 2000 years ago. On the 21st of June, the day of summer solstice, the 21st century school students conduct Eratosthenes’ experiment on the BA Plaza, and in Aswan (Upper Egypt) to measure the circumference of Earth.

The PSC is inviting all school students of ages 4-17 years to join the Summer Program, starting from the 13th of May 2017 till the 30th of August 2018.The program includes various activities, such as practical experiments, scientific contests, lectures, and Planetarium and Auditorium shows. The purpose of this program is to emphasize the bond between students and learning by approaching knowledge through fun and games.

School Year Program 2017/18
The PSC is organizing a number of workshops that encourage school students’ groups to explore their creativity and help them find out how to use it in their life; all the while enriching their knowledge. In our workshops, students are able to interact with each other and with world around them in an exciting and entertaining manner; they are graduated to have a blast!. the reservation requested by schools according to specific schedule.

Summer Program 2017
Since 2005 the PSC has organized the PSC summer Program which includes various activities, experiments, scientific contests, lectures, and shows. Participants are divided into groups according to their ages Each group has a number of schedules from which each participant chooses according to his convenience. The purpose of this program is to emphasize the bond between students and learning by approaching knowledge through fun and games.

Preparations are in full flow for the Ecsite 2023 Conference in Malta hosted by Esplora.
Did you know that each Conference has it's own unique brand identity? This year the team at Esplora have incorporated a key element of Malta's cultural heritage, the Luzzu, into their design.
On Saturday 23rd July, Birgu’s Couvre Porte was decorated with the colours of Esplora as the science festival Esperimenta Tikka Xjenza was held with the main aim to bring the immersive world of science to the community. This festival was the science centre’s latest initiative to showcase that science can be entertaining and accessible to all.
