After its success in Budapest, the "CLEVERFOOD for everyone" exhibition is arriving in Poland! Our member Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia, located on the Baltic coast, is the next host of the exhibition. On 1st February 2025, they held a successful opening day, launched by the Vice-President of the city of Gdynia, in charge of education. Throughout the day, the Experyment educators organised guided visits to the exhibition, and animated science workshops.
Ecsite is involved in the Horizon Europe Project CLEVERFOOD (Grant Agreement no. 101086320) which aims to foster the transformation of European food systems towards more regenerative, resilient, and sustainable food systems through the mobilisation of European citizens, including children and the youth but also stakeholders from the food sector (farmers, producers, investors & entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, educators…).
The “CLEVERFOOD for Everyone” exhibition, which explores ways to create more sustainable, fairer, and healthier food systems, can now be visited online through an immersive virtual tour. Originally launched as a physical exhibition with the collaboration of several Ecsite members under the EU-funded CLEVERFOOD project, this digital experience brings the exhibition to all who cannot visit it in person.
The FOOD 2030 Science Education Toolkit, developed as part of the Cleverfood EU project, in which Ecsite is a key partner, is a flexible resource designed to help educators explore the complexities of food systems.
