Have you ever wondered what impact your food choices have on your health, the planet and society? This question is at the heart of a new exhibition launched by the Horizon Europe project CLEVERFOOD. In the "CLEVERFOOD for everyone" exhibition, European citizens of all ages take a journey through our food systems, reflecting on the consequences of our current approach to food and envisioning a fairer and more sustainable future. While moving across the 11 interactive exhibits, visitors experience the constant motion & interconnectedness of food systems. They experience first-hand the movement of goods, people & services and the relationship between our food, our bodies and the planet.
The exhibition was co-created by the partners of the CLEVERFOOD project, in a process coordinated by our member Ciência Viva. Produced by our member Hüttinger Interactive Exhibitions, "CLEVERFOOD for everyone" will now tour Europe for two years, following the European Union Presidency Semester. The first stop will be in Hungary, where the exhibition will be displayed at the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture in Budapest from 9th October 2024 to 12th January 2025. It will then be shipped to Ecsite member Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia, Poland. The third host in Denmark will soon be announced, and a call for tender will be published by Ecsite this autumn to choose hosts in Cyprus and Ireland. The exhibition will then be available for donation in December 2026.
