Call for Expressions of Interest for the Provision of Design to Installation of Art Pieces to enrich the Visitors’ Experience at Esplora Science Centre.

Proposals should be made on the prescribed forms which, together with the relative conditions and other documents can be downloaded from the Malta Council for Science and Technology’s website (www.mcst.gov.mt/news.aspx).

The Malta Council for Science and Technology for and on behalf the Foundation for Science and Technology is launching a Call for Expressions of Interest for artists to submit proposals from design, to installation of art pieces with a science related theme for the Esplora National Interactive Science Centre, Marina Street, Bighi, Kalkara. The science-related art pieces shall be commissioned as six individual lots.

Interested candidates are to submit a proposal clearly marked as ‘MCST 32/2014 – Expression of Interest for the Provision of Design to Installation of Art Pieces to enrich the Visitors’ Experience at Esplora Science Centre (Lot Number)’

The submissions are to be deposited at the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST), Villa Bighi, Kalkara KKR 1320, Malta by not later than Friday, 28th November 2014 at 10:00 am CET

Late submissions will not be considered.

Esplora Interactive Science Centre

Esplora, Malta’s Interactive Science Centre is an informal educational and recreational facility suited to visitors of all age groups. Esplora is located at Villa Bighi in Kalkara overlooking Malta’s Grand Harbour. The building was formerly used as a hospital by the Royal Navy. It consists of a number of buildings and outdoor spaces which are all interconnected following extensive restoration and development.
