June 2014 - Brigitte Coutant wishes Ecsite a happy 25th Annual Conference in 2014. She remembers how the network started with a few dozens of people… Brigitte was Director of National and international relations at Universcience (Paris, France) until February 2015. In 25 years she was Treasurer, Chair of the Annual Conference Programme Committee and Vice-President of Ecsite!

May 2014 - This keynote presentation was delivered by Ecsite Honorary Member Pr. Per-Edvin Persson at the Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres conference in May 2014. Persson conducted an extensive literature survey on the impact of science centres and their activities. He lists facts and figures from a wealth of sources that show beyond doubt that science centres enhance learning, enhance local prosperity and contribute to social development. A handy resource for anyone looking for robust evidence to prove value and impact.
