In this fantastic exhibition, National Geographic reveals a world very few will have the chance to see for themselves. Shot by some of the world's finest photographers, "Rarely Seen" features striking images of places, events, natural phenomena, and manmade heirlooms seldom seen by human eyes.

Dive beneath the surface of the Aegean Sea and explore the tumultuous history and evolution of the beautiful sea and dazzling islands that were home to Sappho, Homer, Pythagoras, and Hippocrates and inspired fantastic mythical creatures, such as Cyclops, Circe, and the Sirens.

Get under nature’s skin with this unforgettable exhibition featuring real animals preserved through plastination. From goats to giraffes, elephants to eels and octopuses to ostriches - embark on an anatomical safari exploring more than 100 real animal specimens. Marvel at the muscles supporting the neck of the 5m tall giraffe and stand face to face with an adult gorilla. Thanks to the science of plastination, invented by Dr Gunther von Hagens, each animal has been painstakingly preserved allowing visitors to see what lies beneath nature’s skin in intricate detail.

The Science Museum of Camerino University presents a real moon rock into the galleries of its permanent exhibition, partly renovated, on April 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2016 (special opening, 10.00 am to 7 pm).

The rock, collected on the moon by Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell during the Apollo 14 mission (February 1971), will be closely observed and photographed by the public.

As of 23 October, the interactive special exhibition “EY ALTER – du kannst dich mal kennenlernen” (HEY MAN – get to know yourself sometime) will be offering fresh and new ideas focusing on ageing, day-to-day life and the world of work.

The Brain Zone lets you understand what’s going on inside your head through exciting, fun activities and exhibits. Explore what makes you ‘you’! Scientists are discovering new things every day and you, and your brilliant brain, can help improve our understanding by visiting The Brain Zone and taking part in experiments.

Brain Zone is a new, permanent exhibition at Life Science Centre and will open to the public on 25 March 2016.

Confindustria Vicenza, City of Schio and Pleiades Group are partners for the realization of a cultural and educational project on the territory of Schio, called District of Science and Technology.

Sci- fi fans can rejoice, as one of Europe’s largest privately owned collections of model robots, cyborgs and androids now on display at Life Science Centre. This fascinating new exhibition will display robots, androids and cyborgs from TV shows and films from the past 60 years, and features over 40 full size robot models, heads and robot toys, including replicas of famous robots that you may recognise from the big screen!

The Planetarium Science Center of Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) will host the global blockbuster “1001 Inventions” exhibition and its parallel activities in Egypt. This is in collaboration with 1001 Inventions Foundation and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, with the patronage of the Egyptian Prime Ministry.

Do you see what you see? Taste what you smell? Hear what you see? Your senses and your brain often work together well, however, sometimes things can go wrong. Mistakes like these are exactly what illusionists like to work with and what scientists try to understand the workings of. In the Museon, the two worlds of magic and science touch.
