"A window on science" at Parque de la Ciencias (Grenada, Spain)

Parque de las Ciencias (Granada, Spain) just launched its fourth edition of “A window to science”, an initiative inviting universities to showcase their research at the science centre.

The first exhibition features research conducted by the University of Cordoba (Andalusia) about water footprint. This is the first of nine universities who will showcase their research until 2016. "Window on science" is designed as a transparent space reflecting contemporary developments in science and technology. The project aims to to disseminate scientific and technological culture from a human perspective and underline the need to incorporate innovation as a fundamental value in society and in its economic and social development model. Parque de las Ciencias

Parque de las Ciencias is Andalusia’s science centre and museum. The museum is well situated in the center of Granada, the town of the Alhambra and Federico García Lorca. Parque de las Ciencias, under the motto A new kind of Museum, was founded in 1995 and occupies 70.000 square meters.
