From 1 to 4 May, the Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia will host 'May 2025 at Experyment'. The programme focuses on the theme of vitality, which includes health, energy, lifestyle, exercise and nutrition. The aim of the event is to encourage participants of all ages to engage in healthy and safe physical activity, as well as to promote the development of good eating habits and healthy prevention.
"Recipe for... Health from Roots" is an upcoming event offering a multifaceted exploration into the world of roots, taking place on 25 April at Experyment in Gdynia. The evening format, running from 18:30 to 22:00, will explore the historical and anthropological roots of Polish cuisine, the promising health benefits of root-derived substances such as adaptogens, and the culinary versatility of root vegetables in vegetarian diets.
Gdynia's Experyment Science Centre, a hub for science engagement, will host the two-day #Curiosity conference, a dynamic event designed to amplify young people's voices and promote educational innovation. The conference will begin on 9 April 2025 with a focus on students, followed by a session for teachers on 10 April.
What will it taste like tomorrow? Even today, the issue of food additives, excess sugar or other undesirable ingredients means that our food choices often end with a long analysis of the ingredients on the label. So what about food produced in a lab or with a 3D printer as a healthy and sustainable answer? Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia, Poland, is planning to submit a proposal in ERASMUS+ SMALL-SCALE PARTNERSHIPS IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH and seeks 2 science centres/museums/institutions from EU member states interested in participating in a knowledge-sharing project. As the programme is designed to widen access to Erasmus+, we seek for small-scale actors, less experienced organizations and newcomers to the Erasmus+ Programme
Year 2014 was the first year of activity fully carried out on brand new exhibition of EXPERYMENT Science Centre in Gdynia. During this very successful time, EXPERYMENT welcomed 260 000 visitors. All guests had opportunity to experience more than 200 interactive, fascinating exhibits. During 2014 there were also few temporary exhibits in EXPERYMENT such as “Urban Bees – the bees in my City” (summer 2014) or “Feel the art” (still available until the end of February 2015). Exhibition “Feel the art” makes users understand how blind people perceive the world we live in.
As part of further development of the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia (POLAND), our EXPERYMENT Science Centre is changing as well.
