Report

After a successful cooperation of the Ecsite Space Group and ESA in development of the Rosetta Kit about the Rosetta mission in 2013-2015, the collaboration will continue and new projects will be developed on three themes. Ecsite conducted the feasibility study in August-September 2015 with the goal to assess the relevance of each theme and readiness to implement and use the outcomes of the projects among the Ecsite members.

What are comets? Where do they come from? Why should we care about them? The exhibition “Comets & ESA’s Rosetta” invites the audience to take part in the incredible journey of Rosetta and to better understand its mission. Through simple and modular displays, visitors discover what we already know about comets and how a deeper knowledge of them could lead to major discoveries about the origins of the solar system and our origins.
