Reserve your spot for this new edition of the “Pilots Training Course for Museum Explainers, Educators and Young Scientists involved in outreach programmes” registration closes at the end of June 2011!
For those of you who are interested to attend the Pre Conference training of explainers and the main annual conference or the pre conference workshop on evaluation of exhibits and the main annual conference, the European Commission (EC) offers a grant opportunity in order to cover your fees.
Through Grundtvig, the EC provides funding to promote exchanges of experiences and the development of a European dimension in all sectors of adult education. The Ecsite Annual Conference is officially accredited as one of the training opportunities for individuals that are involved in adult education.
The Ecsite Annual Conference preliminary programme (in pdf format) is now available on the conference website.
Ecsite is looking for a mature, autonomous and committed Executive Assistant who is willing to contribute to this organisation.
The conference will take place at the University of Venice the 12th and 13th of May 2011.

Are you part of a collaborative project you want to feature at the Ecsite Annual Conference? Propose it for the Project Buffet, an open poster session organized by Ecsite where 15 posters from collaborative, non-profit projects, will have the chance to present their work.
With six workshops on offer, this year’s pre-conference is bigger than ever. Have a look at the exciting itinerary:
Monetary prizes are available for the first prize winners of the national contests, plus there will be a European prize awarded by Ecsite.
The TWIST project (Towards Women in Science and Technology) partners are preparing to celebrate their first Gender Day event on March 8th, International Women’s Day.
Ecsite’s new registration system will allow participants to network with other attendees prior to the Conference.
