Many of this year's events and gatherings have been forced to re-think their plans due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown procedures and Ecsite's events have been no exception. The 2020 Directors Forum was due to take place in Manchester in October this year, but after discussions with our host, the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, the current situation regarding the pandemic means that the capacities of events spaces, and other Manchester venues, will be strictly limited and somewhat constrained as a result.

Therefore, the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry will welcome attendees to their vibrant, friendly city in 2021 instead. The 2020 Directors Forum will now take place digitally, and Technopolis (Mechelen, Belgium) will be our host.

We will have more information coming very soon on our plans for the 2020 edition which will still take place, ensuring that all our Directors and Senior Managers are able to have the intellectual stimulation and networking opportunities that the Directors Forum presents on a yearly basis.

The call to host the 2022 Directors Forum will open in spring 2021 - stay tuned.
