The Ecsite Annual General Meeting will be taking place on Wednesday 10 June at 2pm in Trento (Italy) - make sure you arrive to Trento in time to attend! Full members can also bring candidates forward for the Board and the Presidency. The deadline to submit a candidacy is 6 April 2015.
Ecsite is involved in a new Horizon 2020 proposal funded by the European Commission on responsible nanotechnology. We are looking to select around 6 of our members to join us on this proposal as Third Parties.
Last summer Ecsite has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with EAZA, the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria and BGCI, Botanic Gardens Conservation International. We are launching a call for Ecsite members to contribute learning materials on local biodiversity to run a joint campaign starting next year.
With 1,000 delegates from more than 50 countries, welcoming an Ecsite conference puts the host on the international science engagement scene, and boosts the reputation of the organisation and its local authorities.
#Museumweek is a week-long global Twitter campaign mobilizing museums and their visitors around the globe on 23-29 March.
