EXTRA, the marketplace for scientific touring exhibitions.
Uniquely Us invites children, families, and communities into thoughtful, play-based experiences that explore identity, empathy, and our shared humanity. Through interactive activities and imaginative role-play, young visitors are encouraged to see the world from different perspectives and understand their place in it.
Created in response to families and caregivers seeking age-appropriate ways to discuss race and racism, Uniquely Us meets families where they are—making big topics approachable through guided, flexible experiences. Tools and take-home resources support ongoing reflection in the exhibition and beyond.
