Visit CERN's permanent exhibitions

The Speakers Reception (Wednesday 6 June) will be hosted on the CERN campus at the Globe of Science and Innovation

At CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. They use the world's largest and most complex scientific instruments to study the basic constituents of matter – the fundamental particles.

There are several exhibitions and public engagement spaces on the CERN campus. The CERN is inviting Ecsite conference participants to discover them in exclusive guided tours:

Tour n°1, on Wednesday 6 Jun, 08.30 - 12.00
Tour n°2, on Wednesday 6 Jun, 14.30 - 18.00
Tour n°3, on Thursday 7 Jun, 14:30 - 18:00
Tour n°4, on Friday 8 Jun, 14:30 - 18:00
Tour n°5, on Saturday 9 Jun, 14:30 - 18:00

Registration is free but mandatory. Online or at the dedicated desk at the CICG convention centre. Seats are limited.

As these are exclusive tours, attendees will be requested to bring along their tour ticket and #Ecsite2018 delegate’s badge.

Pre- and main conference speakers will receive a warm welcome from conference hosts, CERN representatives and Ecsite, at the CERN campus at the Globe of Science and Innovation, one of CERN's outreach spaces. Enjoy a drink and mingle with other speakers. More

A record-breaking 1,182 professionals from 58 countries gathered in Geneva, Switzerland for the 29th edition of the Ecsite Conference. It was hosted by the Natural History Museum of Geneva in partnership with CERN, University of Geneva Scienscope, and Campus Biotech.
