Call for a Science Shop with interest in food and RRI to join H2020 project FIT4FOOD as Third Party

Ecsite’s partner on the FIT4FOOD project, the Living Lab for Health at IrsiCaixa, is looking for an institution in charge of implementing Science Shop activities to join the project as a Third Party with the role of City Lab.

FIT4FOOD2030, a recently launched H2020 project (SFS-18-2017) in which Ecsite is a Work Package leader, will support the European Commission in the development and implementation of the FOOD 2030 policy framework and its action plan by establishing a sustainable multi-stakeholder, multi-level platform, mobilizing a wide variety of stakeholders at the level of cities, regions, countries, and Europe. To this end, three interlinked structures are envisaged. An ‘EU Think Tank’ will act as linking pin between EC and Member States and Associated Countries, while ‘Policy Labs’ will increase and align public/private R&I policies and programmes on food and nutrition security, building and expanding on existing national and regional networks.

In the role of ‘City Lab’, the successful applicant will develop and pilot action-oriented trainings for students, consumers, researchers and professionals linking Science Centres/Science Shops to networks of Milan Urban Food Policy Pact cities.

For more information on the project and the selection criteria, consult the PDF below.

To apply, please send the complete application form available below, together with the CV of the project manager that would work on this project, to rmalagrida@irsicaixa.es with cc cpaca@ecsite.eu. The deadline to apply is 10 December 2017, 23:59 CET.
