Join the Ecsite Space Group on 16-17 October 2024 at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, Italy, for its annual meeting co-organised by ESA and Ecsite.
In the spirit of all Space Group meetings, this day is open to anyone who wishes to join us and meet with like-minded professionals with a passion for space.
Hosted by the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology, this meeting will connect science museum & centre professionals, ESA representatives, national space agencies and public institutions from all across Europe in their shared goal to communicate space science with the public and share best practices.
Thanks to the generous support of ESA, all events scheduled will be free of charge.
16 October
Join us for a dynamic day of collaboration, insightful knowledge sharing, and engaging presentations. The day will begin with the chance to connect with the other professionals present as well as hear the latest on European space outreach from representatives of ESA, national space agencies, universities and industry.
As we transition into the afternoon portion of the programme, selected participants will present and lead discussions on topics that spark innovation in the field of space and science engagement. We are launching a call for presentations, both in-person and remote, inviting case studies, projects, exhibits, or any other contributions that would captivate our audience. In the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to attend the inaguration of the ESA-Leica photo exhibition, 'Forests seen from space - Echoes of the Vaia storm' and a networking dinner.
17 October (optional - see details below)
Continuing on from the previous day's itinerary, the morning of the 17 October will include free entry to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science Technology, and a guided tour of their exhibitions on space such as 'Fragility and Beauty' and 'Space for Our Planet'.

Want to extend your time in Milan?
The 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC), scheduled for 14-18 October 2024, will see the arrival of over 8,000 experts from industry in Milan. If you are interested in attending the IAC and learning more about ongoing and future space activities, the IAC is open to the public on the 18 October with free entry.
Please keep in mind that there is a limited number of tickets available.
