In cooperation with the European Space Agency – ESA, the Ecsite Space Group invites all interested participants to join the Space Group Annual Meeting hosted by the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESA/ESAC) in Villafranca del Castillo, Madrid, Spain, on 27-28 November 2017.

This exciting opportunity is aligned with the Space Group “Space for Life” theme for 2017, "Is there Life out there". Participants will have the chance to visit the permanent ESA exhibition at the Planetarium of Madrid and ESA/ESAC, the “home” of ESA’s science operations, planetary missions and space-telescope.

Some of the aspects that will be on the agenda include ESA's Communication Strategy 2018-2020 and Science Programme, public engagement on space issues, and the two pilot projects currently developed by Space Group members.

Join us to discuss and build relationships with ESA and CDTI - Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology representatives, space professionals and science communication peers, exchange resources (including your own, during our “Resource Carousel”!), ideas and best practices, and stay informed about the latest space news and discoveries.

A draft programme of the event is available below. For any questions regarding the programme of the Annual Meeting, please contact Fiorella Coliolo, fcoliolo@exoworld.net, Space Group Coordinator for ESA.

If you are interested in attending the meeting, please confirm your participation with Cristina Paca, projects@ecsite.eu. More details regarding accommodation, including a special rate for attendees, will be communicated upon registration, as will transport arrangements.
