In the past several years, making and tinkering have spread around the globe and we don’t have to explain why it is fun to get our hands dirty from time to time, follow our own curiosity or do things with others in a playful way. We can’t be satisfied with simply presenting the machines and materials for "fabbing" but must look deeper into questions of customization and implementation in different settings around our community. The Maker Space at the 2015 Ecsite Annual Conference will be an open platform to tackle many questions around making, fabbing, and tinkering with a special focus on two topics:

• How to set up and run a maker space successfully
• How to identify and use available resources in the community to benefit an institutional approach towards making and tinkering

Join us at our the MUSE FabLab,where we hope to have less talking and more making, and more discussions than presentations. And yes, of course we will make food in curious ways.
