Co-creating new technologies with citizens is under way!

SocKETs is conducting six case studies across Europe, called SocKETs Labs, and focusing on the application of key enabling technologies towards a diversity of innovation and societal challenges in the sectors of construction, e-health and automation industry.

Their co-creation journey started a few months ago, and they are now advanced in their exploration of citizen engagement practices in technology development.

  • e-Health applications in Denmark

Our partner DTI is exploring the different challenges that are currently facing the implementation of e-Health practices in the country. Together with participants, different actors of the Danish society are building solutions to overcome those challenges while answering everyone's expectations and needs, with a particular focus on the elderly needs.

  • e-Health in Serbia

CPN is collaborating with different stakeholders that could contribute to improving healthcare and quality of life in a variety of different domains. They have highlighted the importance of collaboration among all the sectors involved and the need for common ground.

  • e-Health in Bulgaria

CRA is particularly focused on KETs-based applications in disease monitoring, innovative devices and practices, ICT applications and platforms that are user-friendly, non-invasive and can be used in a non-hospital environment. They are building recommendations to advance the sector.

  • Circular Economy in Estonia

The Estonian lab, hosted by AHHAA, will focus on the country’s efforts in moving from a linear economy to a circular economy business model in various spheres, including energy production, construction, packaging and much more. Citizens are now actively involved in the development of solutions

  • Circular economy in Italy

AIRI focuses on the technologies enabling the transition of the building and construction sector and the built environment towards a circular economy. Various actors in the field and the society are developing scenarios for what the future of the construction sector would look like.

  • Automation systems in the Basque country

Our Spanish partner Tecnalia is currently developing a community of practice industry representatives, citizens and stakeholders to discuss, think and prototype solutions related to potential transformation of the work due to recent developments in Artificial Intelligence.
