An exciting opportunity has arisen for a resourceful, highly organised individual with excellent communication and project management skills to develop and manage Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales touring exhibitions and partnerships programme.

The role will develop and manage Amgueddfa Cyrmu – National Museum Wales’ international and national touring exhibition programmes, from planning, content delivery, partnership building and marketing, through to implementation, to generate income. The role will also develop and manage Amgueddfa Cyrmu – National Museum Wales’ Partnership exhibitions and displays on a not for profit basis.

You will possess a thorough knowledge of organising museum touring exhibitions with specific and robust experience of loan requirements, budget management, contract negotiation and schedule planning. You will be highly organised, with excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills.

Educated to degree level, with experience managing large scale touring exhibitions, you will possess a detailed knowledge of museum standards and practices for exhibition management, and general knowledge of art handling, shipping and collections care, along with the ability to be flexible and embrace change.

You will need to represent Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales with a high level of professionalism, and manage multiple projects within an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
