Intel Bibliotheca Alexandrina Science and Engineering Fair 2013 International Achievements

Intel BASEF is an annual scientific competition, organized by the Planetarium Science Center at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, for youths ages 14—18 years. Participants receive training in research and presentation skills through a comprehensive program conducted by the PSC team. Moreover, they receive technical and financial support during conducting their researches. Finally, they present their projects’ findings under 17 science and humanities themes. it is an affiliate for the International Science and Engineering fair in the United States, where the first three winning projects in Intel BASEF go to represent Egypt internationally.

This year, for the first time, Egypt successfully secures two grand awards in Intel ISEF, which was held in Phoenix, Arizona from May 12-17. The two projects that won Intel ISEF awards are the winners of Intel BASEF affiliate fair as follows:
