Science Village Scandinavia AB (SVS) is a Swedish company that occupies 17 hectares of land between the two big research facilities MAX IV and ESS being constructed in Lund in southern Sweden. Both will be world-leading. SVS will provide common facilities for the many thousands of researchers who will come to carry out research from universities, national and international laboratories, and industries both in Europe and beyond. SVS will also house a Science Centre and Exhibition where the work of MAX IV and ESS, as well as science in general, will be communicated to the general public.
