JRA plans, designs and realizes science centres and museums that inspire adults, children and families to ask questions, discover new ideas, interact with each other, and better understand themselves and their world.

Named by The Wall Street Journal as “one of the world’s more prominent design firms,” JRA plans, designs and delivers award-winning science centres, museums, children’s museums and visitor centres. Our studio has worked on a global scale since our incorporation in 1987 and engages, informs, and entertains diverse audiences on six of our world’s seven continents.

JRA consists of over 40 writers, planners, designers, media producers and project managers headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. This creative team provides all of the services necessary to guide museum projects from initial concept to opening day, including:

  • Master Planning
  • Writing and Content Development
  • Exhibit/Attraction Design
  • Graphic Design
  • Executive Media Production
  • Art Direction
  • Project Management

We understand that a science centre’s mission, first and foremost, is to educate. We also understand that learning can be fun. Using strong story lines, immersive environments and interactives, our STEAM-based exhibits attract visitors to science centres and engage them in the joy of learning.

For over thirty years, JRA has created innovative master plans and exhibitions for a number of diverse science centres, including Universe Science Park, Ithra, Science Centre Singapore, King Salman Science Oasis, The Mind Museum, Enginuity, The Field Museum, and Space Center Houston.
