When communication contents are produced by teenagers...you can expect everything

Integrating children and teenagers in the decision making processes triggers their interest and makes them informed and active citizens. Hypatia believes in this and this is why the project has established various tools to involve them at all levels. Working directly with them is a core strategy of the project that has been extended to the communication campaign. We have created a rotating scheme of teenage editorial boards to give them a voice and why not say it, to help us communicate in a shared language and aesthetic. So far, we have had a first experience with a Dutch Editorial Board. It has been a very interesting and fruitful collaboration between NEMO Science Museum, a group of teenagers, and Ecsite. But every board is a world and as editorial boards rotate, we find new challenges.

You can see the contents produced by checking the expecteverything.eu website. If you follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram you would have probably seen them as well. As teenagers have total freeedom to choose the topic and format they write about, the results are as varied and diverse as the teenagers that have produced them. And that is something the project actively seeks.

But....There is also a flip side to every story and we are very transparent about it. However, you will have to wait for next episodes to learn more about them.
