Ecsite would like to thank our outgoing members of the Annual Conference Programming Committee (ACPC) Mairéad Hurley & Jurij Krpan for the time, effort and hard work they have put in to ensure the Ecsite Conference programme is a success each year. We are also deeply grateful for the energy and heart they have brought to this work.

Mairéad Hurley, Assistant Professor in Science Education at Trinity College Dublin, has been part of the ACPC for the past 6 years. With a distinct knack for finding inspiring Keynotes, we have her to thank for bringing the likes of Sinéad Burke (2022), Rob Hopkins (2023) and Kris De Meyer (2025) to the Conference.

Jurij Krpan, Director at Kersnikova Institute, took up the role as 2024 Conference Host representative three years ago. Following the fantastic 2024 Ecsite Conference hosted by he and his team in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Jurij has continued to contribute his expertise in both art and science to the programme.

Mairéad and Jurij will be sorely missed as members of the ACPC, however, as a key part of our community we look forward to our continued collaboration. We thank you both.
