In partnership with UNESCO and ICOM, science centres worldwide will celebrate the International Science Centre & Science Museum Day (ISCSMD) on 10 November.

For its first edition in 2016, more than 300 science centres and science museums participated in the global event, from more than 55 countries on six continents covering 20 time zones, all presenting a diverse range of special events, programmes, and exhibitions. ISCSMD addresses the way science centres and museums educate their diverse audiences about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

To prepare this year's edition, webinars are organised. The first one is already available online. The second webinar will present the best stories so far on how science centres and museums are addressing the UN-SDGs. The aim is to illustrate how science centres and museum are already addressing the UN-SDGs in some fashion, and to inspire more institutions to look into their daily practice to find their own way to tell a new story.
