Discover yesterday’s Storify summary (see pdf file attached), looking back on the first of two days of in-depth pre-conference workshops.

Participants mapped new roles for facilitators, developed tools for space science communication and ocean literacy and shaping transnational science centre networks’ collaborations. They prototyped games and drew a research agenda for learning in informal settings.

This 28th edition brought 1,058 participants from 52 different countries to Porto, Portugal.  A warm thank you to our brilliant hosts: Natural History and Science Museum of the University of Porto (MHNC-UP) and Ciência Viva - and of course to all the participants who make this conference so special!
