First Ecsite webinar attracts almost 500 attendees

The first Ecsite workroom starts in February
Join Marie Hobson, Jeremy W. Foutz and Volker Schoenert for the webinar on Audience research: Opportunity or obstacle?

As part of #EcsiteOnline, our new digital platform to keep the network connected, the decision to hold online webinars seemed obvious. Due to the lack of a physical Conference this year, being able to provide an opportunity to discuss important and stimulating topics was something that we knew would keep our community connected and the first webinar did not disappoint!

Curated by Anna Schäfers and Amparo Leyman Pino and with session speakers Bärbel Auffermann, Elizabeth Rasekoala, Micah Parzen and Caroline Turré, the energising session on 'Decolonising museums and science communication' brought lots of discussion, rich content, engaging presentations and even an interactive poll, as well as 493 attendees from all corners of the globe.

Session convenors Amparo Leyman Pino and Anna Schäfers were delighted that the webinar prompted so much interaction and discussion; the session speakers will be taking a look at the questions raised and continuing the discussion at a later date, so stay tuned! To re-watch the webinar, simply click on this link.

To register for the next session on Audience research with session speakers Marie Hobson, Jeremy W. Foutz and Volker Schönert, or for any of the future sessions, simply visit the Ecsite Online webinar page. Registration is free and there is no maximum number of attendees. Furthermore, you can watch them and re-watch them at a time to suit you.
