Call for papers: Science Communication - Societal impacts issue

Science Communication: Linking Theory and Practice is soliciting contributions for a special issue of the journal on the broad societal impacts of science communication. Developing solid evidence about these impacts is methodologically difficult but very important for the field. For this upcoming (early 2017) special issue, Science Communication seeks contributions that can meet this need. Papers are welcome from a variety of perspectives and from a wide range in terms of analytical scope, from focused case studies to the analysis of national and global trends. Research papers that not only establish that change took place, but also make a reasoned theoretical and empirical argument that science communication served as an agent of that change are seeked.

Manuscripts are due on 1 November 2016

These can be submitted directly to mc.manuscriptcentral.com/sc with a cover note indicating they are for consideration for this special issue. Late submissions can only be considered on a space-available basis or for a regular issue of the journal. All qualified submissions will be peer reviewed.
