Building blocks for the future: Latest news from NANO2ALL

The fourth edition of the NANO2ALL newsletter is out! Explore a variety of project results that will serve as building blocks for our Roadmap of recommendations for greater societal engagement and responsiveness in nanotechnology research and innovation.

NANO2ALL has been keeping busy: an European multi-stakeholder dialogue as well as six national multi-stakeholder dialogues resulted in concrete recommendations that will be taken forward towards decision makers in the area of science and technology. Our societal engagement practices collection is also growing, with the aim to share lessons learned and motivate a wider application of such mechanisms in Europe and beyond.

What are benefits and risks of advancing nanotechnology research? What are the expectations and concerns of the different people impacted by the development of this fast-growing field? Could we gather this knowledge and design recommendations to shape future policies that will drive these advancements in a more responsible way? This is what NANO2ALL was about: promoting mutual learning, informed dialogue and societal engagement in responsible nanotechnology.
