AHHAA launches ERC=Science² research on music

From 11-15 April, AHHAA organised a music week during which participants could learn the science behind music through hands-on activities and theatre shows. The activities were part of the ERC=Science2 project which is funded by the European Research Council (ERC).

The hands-on activities, the theatre shows, and the interactive science tent attracted families and school groups, but also visitors who are deeply interested in science.

More than 600 attendees participated in the hands-on activities and the science theatre shows throughout the week and over 2400 people in total visited the ERC=Science2 pop-up stand.

In addition to these music activities, a science café was also held by ERC grantee Mart Loog, professor of molecular systems biology at the University of Tartu.
