The National Museum of Natural History still offers its Exhibitions for rent, but it is changing! We didn't circulate any longer the furniture, but the digital files and of course the physical material of the artefacts. The dematerialized version combined with an adaptation of the scenario by our teams, allows us to adapt to various needs of all the spaces according to the needs of each. The "Outside the walls" ... a tailored solution! With this new concept, we present the exhibition "Us and Them. Prejudice and racism ": a conceptual, immersive and citizen exhibition that takes an innovative look at the construction of racism in our societies.

Discover STEAMPUNK – a fantastical hands-on adventure. As a fusion of History, Art and Technology, time travel in both directions as you meet a series of Industrial Age authors, scientists and inventors, to see how their creative work and visionary genius led us to our present day technology and our drive for innovation. Fully embracing the S.T.E.A.M. ideals, this exhibition celebrates technology, creative problem solving, and the power of imagination, through scientific artifacts from The Franklin Institute and kinetic Humachine art sculptures by “Steampunk Guru” Bruce Rosenbaum, inspired by the ground-breaking work of famous historical figures, such as Jules Verne, Mary Shelley and H.G. Wells.

The Sun tells the story of humanity’s ever-changing relationship with the Sun and how science and technology have altered the way people around the world experience and use our nearest star. Visitors will be fascinated by immersive audio-visual installations, interesting interactive, and an array of beautiful cultural artefacts and scientific instruments. Motion and time Throughout history, humankind has developed timekeeping systems around the Sun’s motions. The Sun’s influence over the patterns of our daily lives has weakened with the invention of more precise timekeeping devices. Light and health Changing medical understanding of sunlight’s healing and harmful effects on the body has shaped our healthcare and our lifestyles. Sunlight treatments have been recommended for their healing powers since the early 20th century, yet overexposure to sunlight contributes to skin cancer. Energy and power The Sun provides all energy on Earth. For thousands of years, people have developed ways of putting the limitless energy of our star to use – capturing its heat, turning its light into electricity, and even attempting to reproduce the source of its power here on Earth. Sun and Earth The Sun is dynamic, explosive and violent, and solar storms have the potential to cripple communications, power grids and satellites. Upcoming space missions will bring us ever closer to understanding the mysteries of our nearest star, from the superheated corona to the Sun’s effects on space weather.

Flagship exhibition of the Natural History Museum in London for many years, Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious and longest running photography event of its kind. An international judging panel of respected wildlife experts annually reviews almost 50,000 image entries from over 90 countries and the winning images tour internationally to multiple venues around the world. A vast archive of the last 50 years of award winning images enables the Natural History Museum to look at these historic assets to curate new exhibitions around bespoke topics. In addition to the annual exhibition which will continue to tour internationally, we are keen to look at topics such as Underwater Photography, Nature in Black and White, Documentaries, Unforgettable behaviour and 50 Years of Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Choosing ideas which harness the power of photography to inspire greater understanding of the natural world, ideas which encourage change in order to preserve the beauty and diversity of Earth for future generations will remain the exhibition’s key objective.

We have built science exhibitions since 1991 and gradually refined our skills and understanding of narration of science. We know how to make complicated science easier to grasp and understand for a wide audience of curious kids and grown-ups. Our philosophy is that true learning demands the engagement of both mind and body, and that interaction and senses are crucial to facilitate learning. This is the concept behind all of Experimentarium’s 18 new exhibitions that we re-opened with in January 2017. Here we will present the Bubblearium where visitors can experience the fascinating science behind soap bubbles. We have developed a completely new concept that enables visitors to engage in play and in-depth learning and concentration. We will also highlight The Tunnel of Senses, where visitors can crawl, chute and walk through life from birth till death and The Miniverse, an adventurous exhibition for the 1 - 5 year olds and their parents.

In our modern world, we are not always aware of the role coldness plays in our daily lives. The new exhibition of Universcience (Cité des sciences et de l’industrie – Palais de la découverte) proposes an exploration of the cold. In the collective imagination, the word “cold” recalls a manifestation of nature associated with cruelty, immobility, and death: the natural cold that we face during the winter months or when we live in the most hostile places on the planet. Still, the role of the cold in mechanisms developed by living organisms is undeniable. The exhibition will immerse the visitor into different worlds: daily life, extreme environments, science, technology etc. Scientific thrills guaranteed! The exhibition Cold – full of life will be presented at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie from December 2017 to August 2018 and available for touring from Autumn 2018.

50 GREATEST series: The National Geographic Society is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization that pushes the boundaries of exploration to further our understanding of the planet and empower solutions for a more sustainable future. For 130 years, we’ve funded groundbreaking scientists and explorers and shared their findings with the world. We sponsored Hiram Bingham as he brought back stories from Machu Picchu, documented Robert Ballard’s quest to find the Titanic, and supported Jane Goodall’s study of chimpanzee behavior. And many scientific discoveries have been visualized to audiences around the world through the universal power of photography. Based on the overwhelming success of our 50 Greatest Photographs exhibition, this year we are developing and touring a new series of 50 Greatest exhibitions based on global themes. These images remind us that a photograph has the power to do infinitely more than document. Tune in to hear about the exhibition content!

The Fail Exhibition - FAILURE: It’s the other f-word! We fear it and we’re taught to avoid it. But as less-than-perfect human beings, it also brings us together. After all, we’ve all experience it a one time or another. What comes out of failure? It might be embarrassing and uncomfortable, but failure can also be hilarious, instructive… even the catalyst for great success. This exhibition will look at failure straight in the eye – and challenge visitors to explore it from different perspectives. Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation is looking for partners to develop this 300m2 travelling exhibition to launch in 2020.

Why is our energy consumption so crucial for the future of the Earth? Which of the Enewable Energy Sources can be used by anyone today as well as in the future? This educational exhibition deals with renewable energy sources and presents both the actual situation and the possibilities for drawing energy sources from our environment, as well as their return to nature. The exhibits place strong emphasis on humanity's exploitation of energy and on the limits of individual energy resources. The exhibition covers several groups of topics dealing with biomass, solar, wind, nuclear, geothermal and water energy. Special attention is paid to ow certain energy sources are treated.
