The PSC is organizing the International Science Center and Science Museum Day (ISCSMD) which is a yearly global event illustrating the impact and reach of all the world’s science centers and science museums worldwide, who take the opportunity of this day to celebrate and promote their missions through widely diverse informal science education and engagement activities addressing the critical topics articulated in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Planetarium Science Center is organizing the Midyear Program for students of ages 4 – 16 years old, during the period 26 January to 6 February 2014. Online registration at the PSC website: http://wwwhttp://www.bibalex.org/psc/midyear, during the period 5 – 9 January 2014, or till all places reserved.
The program comprises a group of various activities as practical experiments, scientific contests, lectures, Planetarium and Auditorium shows.
International Masterclasses are organized by IPPOG, the International Particle Physics Outreach Group and the Planetarium Science Center, at the third and forth floating rooms in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conferences Center. Each Masterclass is a one-day-activity taking place at a university or research institute. Researchers invite High school students, aged 16 – 19 and let them be scientists for one day. The Planetarium Science Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting the “ Think Green” program to help in the environmental education of the children and youth.
the PSC Summer Program includes a unique workshop about the secrets of the legendary ancient Egyptians.In the first part, children learn the mummification process using a human model, know the chemical materials used during the process and make a canopy jars. In the second part, children will make a tomb model and discover the ancient Egyptian chemical elements as well as the different types of dyes.The target age is 6-11 years.

From 3 to 9 December 2023, Universcience organised, in partnership with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and in scientific partnership with the French National Institute for Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP), the fourth edition of the residency for young international scientific talent, dedicated to the theme of "sport & science" for this Olympic year. This residency was officially certified “Cultural Olympiad” by Paris 2024.

Universcience welcomed on 6-8 October 2023 four Ecsite members at La Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris for its “Fête de la science” (science festival). On the road to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games of Paris, the festival explored the links between sport and science (health, body, performance, neurosciences, social sciences) with a doorway to Europe and the world. The audience had the opportunity to discover the best science shows related to sport and science!

The Closing Ceremony of FIRST LEGO League Challenge and FIRST TECH Challenge Competitions
The BA Planetarium Science Center organized the closing ceremony of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge and the FIRST TECH Challenge competitions, in collaboration with TECHNOFuture - Egypt.
The ceremony witnessed the announcement of the winning teams who took home the major prizes in both competitions, including the PSC teams who were awarded the first and third places.
