A fireside chat about art, science and disturbing echoes from the future

From the transfusion of horse-blood into a human recipient, to the creation of “female sperm”, hosts of this year’s Ecsite conference, the Kapelica Gallery, have presented some of the most ground-breaking and controversial projects at the interface of art and science worldwide. The work of Kapelica with artists and scientists under its director Jurij Krpan pushes the boundaries of art, science and society into uncomfortable territory. These projects belong to the realm of “investigative arts” – art as investigation and research.

Come and join this provocative fireside interview about art, science and disturbing echoes from the future with Jurij Krpan, Director of Kapelica Gallery, conducted by Michael John Gorman, Director of Biotopia Munich.
