Last chance to speak at the Ecsite conference

We offer three last opportunities to speak at the conference.
Submit an entry by 29 April.

General Open Stage

Saturday 11 June, 16:30 - 17:45, Main Auditorium

Have you recently discovered an amazing app, read an incredible book, watched a deeply moving film? Are you working on a mind-blowing project or idea? Do you have a four-minute experience that will sweep the audience off their feet or an eye-opening concept you’d like to share? This could be your chance to share your epiphany with the Ecsite community.

Speakers will have exactly four minutes on stage and a video projector at their disposal… Fill in this short form to submit your pitch.

Children thematic Open Stage

Thursday 9 June, 16:30 - 17:45, Main Auditorium

Do you work with or for children, study them, have a few of your own or secretly still read children's books? This open stage could be your chance to share experiences, epiphanies, projects, opinions (etc) etc with other participants - as long as they are related to children.
This session will be run jointly by Ecsite and Hands On!, the International Association for Children in Museums. Fill in this short form to submit your pitch.

Refugees and migrants: sharing initiatives

Saturday 11June, 14:30 - 15:45, Gallery B+C

In the last few months, Europe has lived through one of the largest migration waves in its modern history.
In wake of these latest developments, some science centres and museums have stepped and are stepping in with initiatives, programmes and activities. But what exactly have the science museums been doing? How successful have they been and what kind of response have they received? What lessons can be learnt and shared?
Three case studies will be selected for an 8 minute presentation each, joining the three already selected speakers from Italy, the Netherlands and Germany.
Fill in this short form to submit your initiative.

Poster session

Friday 10 June, 15.45 - 16.30, Business Bistro

A selection of posters showcasing non-profit projects will be displayed in the Business Bistro area throughout the entire conference.
Contact Antonina Khodzhaeva to bring your poster to this special time slot.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
