In September 2013 we were entrusted with the development of a master plan for the Tech Dome Penang, a hub for technology learning, exchange of ideas and a vehicle for improving scientific literacy and technology ability in Malaysia.

In December 2015 the order was followed by the contract to design and build parts of the initial exhibitry. Tech Dome Penang was finally concepted and mainly equipped by Science Alive! The New Zealand Science Centre, whom we worked in close cooperation with.
Covering a total floor space of 3,200 sqm Tech Dome Penang is home to numerous hands-on exhibits within six main zones highlighting Force and Motion, Life Tech, Electromagnetism, Robotics, Information Technology and Optics. The children’s discovery area Exploration Zone and a Observatory are complementing the center.
Tech Dome Penang was opened to the public on July 16, 2016.
