Due to open its doors in 2018, Science Gallery Bengaluru will be a dynamic new space for engaging young adults at the interface between science and the arts. The first space of its kind in Asia, Science Gallery Bengaluru will deliver an innovative, ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events to engage 15-25 year olds at the dynamic interface between art and science.
The Board of Science Gallery Bengaluru seek to appoint a visionary director to lead the development and delivery of the project.
The Director will work closely with the Head of Project Delivery and all collaborating partners, shaping the future of the project. They will identify opportunities for collaboration that break new boundaries, seeking external partnerships which will develop new knowledge, new audiences and new levels of engagement at the creative fusion of science, technology and arts.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in leading an organisation focused on transdisciplinary public engagement with emerging ideas and research, from early stages to opening and operation as a successful self-sustaining enterprise. They will be regarded as a leader in this emerging field, with significant expertise and networks within the worlds of science, art, technology and business.
