11 February is International Day of woman and girls in science.

On this occasion, the Glasgow Science Centre is inviting science centres from around the world to take part in a social media campaign: #ChooseScience. The aim is to showcase female science centre staff from across the world as positive role models to inspire women and girls to #ChooseScience.

Each participating science centre and museum will post a video at a set time using the hashtag #ChooseScience. In the video, the female member of staff will introduce herself, her science background and explain why they chose science. They will end the video with how they inspire people with science every day in their role at the science centre.
